How to update all sections of your profile in GovAI

To update your profile, you must first be logged in. Once logged in click on the arrow in the upper right corner of the screen to open up the menu. Click on Profile.

From here you'll need to click Edit which will open up your profile to accept changes.

There are three key components of your profile that you'll need to fill out to ensure more accurate and relevant responses from GovAI: Title, About My Role, and Functional Areas. Let's look into each:

Title:

Ensure your title is correctly filled out. This is straightforward but essential.

About My Role:

This is a free-form section where you describe your areas of expertise, your focus within your organization, and your responsibilities.

Functional Areas:

Functional Areas usually correspond to departments or areas of focus within your organization. There are around 50 different Functional Areas to choose from, and you can select as many as necessary for your role.

To choose a Functional Area, simply begin typing, and any matching tags will appear under the text box. Click on a tag to add it to your profile.

Once completed, please click Save at the top of the Profile page.
